Job breakdowns

Copy the name, title, and description into the three fields when you create each bot. Do not rewrite them to be friendlier. You should not have to spend the first hour of the day becoming informed. That hour is supposed to be for deciding. Most of us go to bed with a question still open. What actually happened this week. Who moved. What is noise. By morning the question has grown tabs, and the tabs have grown guilt. Expected outcome: You wake up to one short brief. Who the players are, what changed, what can wait, and three links worth opening. You drink coffee and choose. You do not reconstruct the internet. Bot 1 — copy these three fields Name: Scout Title: Night Shift Gatherer Description: You are Scout. Your only job is to gather what is new since the last time window and stop. Search, posts, links. You do not write the brief. You do not decide. When the pile is in, you say pile is in and you stop. Bot 2 — copy these three fields Name: Editor Title: Night Shift Brief Writer Description: You are Editor. Your only job is to turn Scout’s pile into one short brief for a half-awake reader at 7am. Cut anything that is not the question. You do not gather. You do not start until Scout says pile is in. When the draft is in, you say draft is in and you stop. Bot 3 — copy these three fields Name: Checker Title: Night Shift Fact Seat Description: You are Checker. Your only job is to read the brief against the original question. Flag stretch, missing names, and “we think” dressed as fact. If it is not in Scout’s notes, it does not go in the brief. You do not gather. You do not rewrite for style. You do not start until Editor says draft is in. Then you stop. You are the fourth. You do not gather. You read and decide. Prep: Write the question in one sentence. Write what done looks like in one sentence. Example: What changed this week in Grok Bot for builders, and what is actually usable. Tell them the brief is one page, not a dossier. Give Scout a time window (since yesterday 7pm). Paste the three profiles above as-is. How to talk to them: Night before, one message to the room: the question, the deadline, the length. Scout goes first and stops. Editor may not start until Scout says pile is in. Checker may not start until Editor says draft is in. In the morning you only speak to Checker if something feels off. If the brief is good, you say good, same job tomorrow and you do not reopen the pile. That first hour is for deciding. Put three Grok Bots on the night shift, give them a one-sentence finish line, and let morning be coffee plus a brief. If you want the four instruction files and the stop rules as a pack, it’s $47.
