Job breakdowns

I bought a few of the Lego minifigures blind boxes for my kids, the ones where you don't know which figure you're getting until you open it. I handed out the three boxes, and my oldest shook hers and said, "This feels light." She opened it, and it had 2 pieces. The other boxes had 6 or 7.
that his Grok Bot had handled the whole LEGO order, payment included, and the sets had arrived. She wasn't happy. But a few days earlier I'd read Elon's post below.
So I told my daughter I'd get LEGO to send the missing pieces. I took a few photos, wrote a quick note (I got a couple of details wrong), and sent it to my Grok Bot, Bob, to handle like Elon's did.

Grok Bot read the box codes first
From my photos Bob pulled the item number (6581058), the box code (6594036) and the production code (140R5), and worked out the figure was the Dalmatian, set 71051-7. It also fixed what I'd gotten wrong. Then it listed what should have been in there.
-
In the box: torso and dog hood.
-
Missing: head, printed legs (6571709), tail (6583595), the 2x2 round tile used as the flying disc (6571710), and the stand.

It found the customer service live chat

Elon's bot bought from the LEGO website, so I figured mine could use the same site to ask for help. I asked Bob to use live chat. It opened LEGO's contact page on its own computer, got past the chat assistant to a real person, and a few minutes later it was talking to an agent.
At about 7:50 PM on Oct 15, with my OK, it sent the photos and a short note. The agent wrote back and was already using its computer to visit the lego website and find customer service.
It asked for what it needed and permission to use it.
The agent asked for my phone number. I hadn't given Bob my number, and it doesn't share personal details without checking with me, so it messaged me and waited. I was afk / slow to answer, which is why the chat went quiet and the agent asked if we were still there. Once I replied, Bob sent the number, and by 8:10 a replacement order was in.
So we added two small skills. One keeps a chat like this going while Bob checks with me if he's stuck, with something like a quick "just a minute, confirming that now" or similar so the agent isn't left waiting. The other skill spells out which of my details Bob can use, and when, and only for a task I've approved. A lot of that is already built in by default but we've dialed it in for how I like to work.

Mission Accomplished
The confirmation email came that night. LEGO will email again when the parts ship.

Bob sent me a recap with the confirmation, the photos and the chat transcript all in one place.
None of this was hard. It's just the kind of thing I'd have put off. This time it took me a few photos and a couple of sentences.

Elon's bot bought his LEGO sets. Mine fixed what was missing from ours. I didn't have to do all the research, visit the website and deal with customer service at all. The Dalmatian gets its legs soon, and thanks to the @LEGO_Group support team for making it easy!
